DJ with Apple Music is Now Live, Supports Top DJ Platforms

Apple yesterday announced DJ with Apple Music, allowing DJs to mix tracks directly from Apple Music’s streaming catalog using some of the most popular DJ software and hardware platforms.
Starting today, Apple Music subscribers can build and perform sets using over 100 million songs, thanks to new integrations with Serato, AlphaTheta (Pioneer DJ), inMusic’s Engine DJ (Denon DJ, Numark, RANE DJ), and Algoriddim’s djay Pro.
This marks the first time Apple Music has opened up its full catalog for live mixing through third-party DJ tools. DJs can now prepare, practice, and perform using the same platform they already subscribe to for streaming.
“Apple Music is committed to supporting DJs,” said Stephen Campbell, Global Head of Dance, Electronic & DJ Mixes at Apple Music, in a statement to iPhone in Canada. “With this latest integration, we’re taking that commitment even further—seamlessly connecting Apple Music with the industry’s leading DJ software and hardware. This innovation brings the full power of Apple Music into the creative workflow, making it easier than ever for DJs to access, play, and discover music in real time.”
Apple has also introduced a new DJ with Apple Music section within the app, featuring curated playlists for mixing and pages dedicated to each supported platform. These pages include sample mixes and playlists to help users get started.
The move builds on Apple Music’s existing DJ Mixes and its Apple Music Club global radio station, further positioning the service as a go-to destination for DJs of all levels.
As of today, the new DJ integrations are live and available for Apple Music subscribers using supported DJ apps and equipment.
