I just got off the phone with the lovely Mandy from the Rogers Niagara Call Center. I asked about a million questions and the one that is burning through a lot of people right now is what the deal is with the $1100 / $220 monthly early cancellation fee for the new iPhone 3G.

Mandy informed me that it is most likely a typo and that she has immediately put in a request to get it changed to the correct information. She informed me that the numbers were likely duplicated out of error and should in fact be the traditional $100 or $20 per month to a maximum of $400.

So there you have it; breathe easy, and thank Mandy.

I never thought for a second it was $1100. That would, I'm pretty sure, be criminal in some way.
